Dance Class September Session Schedule
Staying together as a community and supporting each other is incredibly important to us at Dance. Students attending our classes have experiences which inspire them to continue their dance journey, and it is our goal that each student receives a sense of motivation and encouragement from each class. We believe strongly that personal connections help that magic. Keep your journey going and stay connected to the studio we all love, Dance!

Dance studio offers both Ballet and Gymnastics combo for the twirler and flippers in your household along with Dance gymnastics combo for the busy kids who can only fit one class into their week but have a love of hip hop, jazz, ballet, and tumbling.
Ballet II Gym COMBO Class
The Ballet Gymnastics combination class is designed to build on basic Ballet steps while integrating advanced strength and flexibility into your Ballet movements. A portion of this class will be on the gymnastics floor to use different apparatuses to help strengthen ballet movements. Students will continue to learn musicality and build on ballet terminology. Students will learn to use barre and begin to learn longer center combinations. This classes goal is strength and alignment.
Jazz COMBO Class
Like Hip Hop, Jazz is a high energy dance form. Jazz is used around the world on stages both in the theater and the pop music industry in music videos and on stage. This combo class is taught in the dance studio and on the gymnastics floor. In the studio the students will be learning center floor combinations while in the gym, they will be learning more advanced acrobatic jumps and movements to practice on soft surfaces and eventually perform in the dance room. This gym time will allow the students to progress at a faster rate with high energy and a fun atmosphere.
Hip Hop COMBO Class (coming soon)
This combo class is taught in the dance studio and on the gymnastics floor. In the studio the students will be learning center floor combinations while in the gym, they will be learning more advanced acrobatic freezes and hip hop stunts to practice on soft surfaces and eventually perform in the dance room. This gym time will allow the students to progress at a faster rate with high energy and a fun atmosphere.
Dance Studio offers classes in ballet from ages 2 years to adults. Beginning in Parent and Me, dancers learn musicality, rhythm and how to express themselves through dance. Twinkle Toes on up Ballet II, expands on technique and terminology and of course the love for the art of dance. Ballet 2 is an invite-only course. Pre-Pointe class is by invite-only. Come try your first class for free!
Parent and Me, Tiny Stars Class
Parent and Me is designed for the 12month to 3 year old who loves dancing around the house to music. This class focuses on expression to music, learning basic ballet terms and spatial awareness, and most of all having fun. This class utilizes parents to help guide dancers through the class, helping them balance focus, with fun. Dancers learn to respect the studio space, the teachers and their fellow dancers.
Twinkle toes classes ages 3+
This class is designed for preschool to kinder age children new to dance, who love to move to music. Dancers will play and dance to music, explore rhythms and musicality and begin learning the basic ballet positions and terms. The goal of this class is to explore how our bodies can have fun moving to music and to begin teaching proper ballet names. Dancers will also learn studio etiquette; learning to respect the studio space, the teachers, and their fellow dancers.
Ballet I Ages 5+
This class expands on terminology and steps learned in the gym combo and pre-ballet classes. This class is designed for the dancer who loves ballet and is ready for an hour long class. In Ballet I, dancers use the barre and learn proper body alignment. Dancers will expand upon ballet French terminology. Ballet I dancers will learn and simple center combinations.
Ballet II class and pre pointe 7+ with teacher recommendation
Ballet 2 focuses on proper body alignment and turnout. This class will begin at the barre to help learn proper turnout and body alignment. Dancers begin learning to spot and basic turns and expand upon their center work and leaps. French terminology and definitions are learned. Dancers begin to learn longer center combinations.
Hip Hop is a culture, and an energetic movement art. Hip Hop style is based on expressing oneself with the rhythm of music through movement. Fun, high energy, musicality, and strength is our goal.
Star Hoppers ages 3+
Star Hoppers is designed for preschool to kinder age children new to dance. For those kids who love to move to music. Dancers will play and dance to movement, explore rhythms and musicality and begin learning the basic hip hop steps. The goal of this class is to explore how our bodies can have fun moving to music and to begin learning hip hop and studio etiquette.
Hip Hop I age 5+
Hip Hop I will build on musicality and steps learned in the creative movement star hoppers class. Hip Hop I is designed to begin isolating body movements and learn basic rhythm. Dancers will also learn studio etiquette; learning to respect the studio space, the teachers, and their fellow dancers.
Hip Hop II/ ages 5+
Hip Hop 2 expands upon Hip Hop I knowledge and increases length of center combinations and difficulty of skills learned.
Modern Hip Hop is a fusion class for teens, taking the elements of contemporary, modern and hip hop styles. Fusing them into one dance. The goal is high energy, empowerment, fun, and creative expression!
Modern Hip Hop is a fusion class for adults. To let loose and HAVE FUN! Taking the elements of contemporary, modern, burlesque, and hip hop styles. Fusing them into one dance. The goal is high energy, empowerment, fun, and creative expression!
Contemporary dance is all-encompassing! A style of expressive dance that combines elements of jazz, lyrical, classical ballet, and modern dance. Contemporary dance is fluid and sometimes tells a story. Our goal is grace, fluidity, and extension.
Contemporary/ Acro Ages 5+
The contemporary class builds on basic ballet technique and blends it with modern and jazz movements. Less rigid than ballet itself, this class allows more personalization of dance style and freedom of movement. Class focuses on clean lines, smooth movement, grace and musicality. Class utilizes the center with standing and floor combinations using basic acrobatic movement.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
Registration and Enrollment:
First class is always FREE before enrolling in a class. Upon enrollment, a credit card is required to be on file for payment. Payment options of monthly autopay or by session. Credit cards will be run on the 1st of each month.
*If a credit card is not valid and no reply is received within a week of being contacted, a late fee of $10 will be charged in addition to tuition due.
Performances & Expositions:
LET'S SHOW IT OFF! All students have the opportunity to perform what they have learned. It may be an exposition at Gym Star Sports Center or a recital performance in a local theater. Check out session specific themes and performance opportunities and show us what you got!!

Late, Early and Missed Classes:
Please do your best to be on time and present at each class. If you need to miss class or leave early, please notify the instructor prior to class. If you need to talk with instructors, please do so before or after class; As instructors, it is our goal to support you the best way we can.
Make ups due to illness or weather:
Make-ups due to illness are not available. If classes are missed due to weather, we will do our best to provide a make-up day.
